Division F Final Results Barlow and Pringle Tie for Top Spot
Division F finished with a tight race at the top, as Prince Barlow and Keith Pringle both closed the event at 6.0-1.0. Barlow claimed first place on spread, finishing at +914, while Pringle took second with a strong +769.
The final standings also delivered a clear third-place finisher, a notable high-win performance outside the prize list, and several decisive last-round results that shaped the final order.
Barlow takes first place on spread
Barlow and Pringle matched each other on wins and losses, but Barlow’s spread gave him the edge for the top spot. His final margin of +914 was the largest in the division, and it proved decisive in separating two players who both finished with one loss.
Barlow’s last game was a commanding win over Marc Arenberg, 422-276, adding to the spread cushion that secured first place. That result mattered because Pringle also won his final game, keeping pressure on the top line all the way through the finish.
Pringle’s second-place finish came after a 359-308 win over Teresa Stone. The victory moved him to the same 6.0-1.0 record as Barlow, but the final spread gap left him in second.
The prize awards reflected that order:
Place | Player | Record | Spread | Prize |
1 | Prince Barlow | 6.0-1.0 | +914 | $150 |
2 | Keith Pringle | 6.0-1.0 | +769 | $75 |
3 | Linda Nervis | 5.0-2.0 | +264 | $50 |
The top two were separated by 145 spread points, a significant gap, but not wide enough to take away from how close the standings were by record. Both players finished two full wins clear of fourth place.
Nervis earns third with a strong finish
Linda Nervis took third place at 5.0-2.0, finishing with a +264 spread. Her final game was a 414-329 win over Carley Lauer, and that result gave her sole possession of the final place-prize position.
Nervis finished one win behind the co-leaders and one win ahead of Stone, creating a clean separation between third and fourth. Her spread was also comfortably positive, which confirmed the strength of her overall tournament performance.
Stone ended in fourth place at 4.0-3.0 with a +178 spread. Her final-round loss to Pringle, 308-359, kept her just outside the prize positions. Even so, Stone finished with a winning record and the fourth-best spread in the division.
That middle section of the standings turned on direct final-game outcomes. Nervis won and held third. Stone lost to one of the leaders and stayed fourth. Arenberg, who entered the final line against Barlow, dropped to fifth after the 422-276 loss.
Lauer wins the high win prize
The $20 high win prize went to the player outside the place-prize standings with the highest scoring game. That award was claimed by Carley Lauer, who scored 452 in Round 6 against Christina Ruark.
Round | Winner | Score | Loser | Score | Prize |
6 | Carley Lauer | 452 | Christina Ruark | 227 | $20 |
Lauer finished seventh overall at 1.0-6.0 with a -423 spread, but the Round 6 total stood out as the highest eligible game outside the top-three prize winners. Her 452-point performance was the single result that earned the high win award.
That prize format gave recognition beyond the final placement table. A player could miss the standings prizes and still be rewarded for a standout game, and Lauer’s Round 6 win fit that category clearly.
