Division D came down to a tight finish at the top, with Joshua Ruark and Andrew Wade both ending on 5.0 wins and 2.0 losses. Ruark claimed first place on spread, finishing at +275, while Wade took second at +212 after defeating Ruark in their final listed game, 443-378.

David Gill rounded out the paid place positions in third, finishing 4.0-3.0 with a strong +173 spread. Chris Sitler, who landed just outside the top three, still walked away with the $20 high win out-of-place prize money, thanks to a 542-281 win over Gill in Round 2.

Final Division D standings

The top two players finished with identical records, so spread decided the order. Ruark’s 63-point spread edge over Wade made the difference for first place.

Ruark’s finish was built on both match wins and point margin. A 5.0-2.0 record put him level with Wade, but the higher spread secured the top spot and the largest payout.

Wade’s final game was one of the key results of the division. His 443-378 win over Ruark gave him a direct head-to-head victory against the eventual first-place finisher. It was not enough to overtake Ruark on spread, but it locked Wade into second place and kept the top of the table close through the end.

Gill finished one win behind the leaders. His 4.0-3.0 record and +173 spread gave him a clear hold on third place, even after a close final-game loss to Karrie Bowe, 428-404.
