Pete Zeigler emerged victorious at the Montrose Club Tourney held on October 2 at the Barnes & Noble Bookstore in Montrose, Ohio. Pete defeated Walter Konicki (twice), Dallas Johnson, and Pat Hardwick, to go undefeated for the tournament.  Second-place finisher, Walter Konicki, finished with a 2-2 record, while 3rd and 4th place finishers, Dallas Johnson and Pat Hardwick split their 2 games against each other to finish at 1-3.
