The third annual Cleveland Classic Scrabble Tournament will be held on December 4-5, 2010 at the Independence Old Town Hall, 6652 Brecksville Road, Independence, Ohio. Dean Souloukas and Dallas Johnson will be directing.

Tournament format: Rounds 1-11 Round Robin; Rounds 12-13 Swiss; Round 14 Queen of the Hill; Round 15 King of the Hill (subject to change at Director's discretion).  Divisions will be established based on attendance, with players ranked using ratings as of December 1, 2010.  Limited to 48 entrants.  If the tournament fills, there will be four 12-player divisions. (Directors also reserve the right to modify division cutoffs, based on attendance.)

Entry fee is $40 if paid before November 15, 2010; $50 if paid after November 15, 2010 and before December 1, 2010; and $60 (cash only) if paid at the door (subject to space availability).  Note: $1 from each entry fee will be donated to cross-tables.com.

From Buffalo, Toronto, Erie and points northeast:
Take I-90 west to I-271 south to I-480 west to I-77 south. Exit at exit #155 Rockside Road/Independence. Turn left onto Rockside Road. Drive ¾ mile to Brecksville Road. Turn right on Brecksville Road. Old Town Hall is located less than a mile from the Rockside-Brecksville Road intersection on the right hand side of the road. From Pittsburgh, Philadelphia. Baltimore and points southeast:
Take the Ohio turnpike (I-80) west to exit 173. Take I-77 north. Exit at exit #155 Rockside Road/Independence. Turn right onto Rockside Road. Drive ½ mile to Brecksville Road. From Columbus, Cincinnati and points southwest:
